ગુજરાત સરકારના કર્મચારીઓના અને પેન્શનર્સના મોંઘવારી ભથ્થામાં કેન્દ્ર સરકારના ધોરણે ચાર ટકાનો વધારો તા-૦૧-૦૭-૨૦૨૨ની અસરથી તેમજ બીજા ચાર ટકાનો વધારો તા.-૦૧-૦૧-૨૦૨૩ની અસરથી આપવાનો કર્મયોગી-હિતકારી નિર્ણય મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રી ભૂપેન્દ્ર પટેલે કર્યો છે.
આ વધારાનો લાભ જે કર્મચારીઓને સાતમા પગારપંચનો લાભ અપાયેલો છે, તેમને જ મળવાપાત્ર થશે, તેવું પણ નિયત કરવામાં આવ્યું છે.
મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રીના આ નિર્ણય અનુસાર રાજ્ય સરકારના, પંચાયત સેવાના તથા રાજ્ય સરકારના અન્ય કર્મચારીઓ અને પેન્શનર્સ મળી અંદાજે કુલ ૯.૩૮ લાખ લોકોને મોંઘવારી ભથ્થાનો આ વધારાનો લાભ મળશે.
મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રી ભૂપેન્દ્ર પટેલે તા-૦૧-૦૭-૨૦૨૨ તથા તા.૦૧-૦૧-૨૦૨૩ની અસરથી આપવાના થતા મોંઘવારી ભથ્થામાં આ આઠ ટકા વધારાથી જે એરિયર્સની રકમ આપવાની થાય છે, તે ત્રણ હપ્તામાં આપવાનો નિર્ણય કર્યો છે.
તદઅનુસાર, તફાવતની રકમનો પ્રથમ હપ્તો જૂન-૨૦૨૩ના પગાર સાથે, બીજો હપ્તો ઓગસ્ટ-૨૦૨૩ના પગાર સાથે અને ત્રીજો હપ્તો ઓકટોબર-૨૦૨૩ના પગાર સાથે ચૂકવવામાં આવશે. મોંઘવારી ભથ્થાના આ વધારાના પરિણામે રાજ્ય સરકારને અંદાજે વાર્ષિક રૂપિયા ૪,૫૧૬ કરોડનું નાણાકીય ભારણ વધશે.
