Sanchar Sathi Portal is a government portal, managed by the Department of Telecom, Government of India, and its main objective is to provide regular convenience to the common people. The TAFCOP portal helps SIM subscribers to check the number of active mobile connections under their name. The government of India has launched the TAFCOP portal for general subscribers to quickly find the mobile number registered with their name and take appropriate action regarding connection.
TAFCOP is a module where a mobile customer can check the number of mobile connections taken in his name. It also provides a facility to report mobile connections that are either not required or not available by the subscriber.

Objectives of Sanchar Saathi Portal

The Sanchar Saathi portal will be activated with the dual functionality of CEIR and TAFCOP, it is a combination of both services at a single location on the official website sancharsaathi.gov.in, where CEIR services enable an easy way to trace stolen/lost mobile phones. Under this process it will block the IMEI number of the mobile phone which has been reported stolen, the given service network operator will blacklist that particular device and lock the phone. This function of the CEIR portal protects consumer data and reduces the possibility of misuse of inserted SIM cards and stolen or loose devices.

• First of all you have to visit the official website of TAFCOP ie https://tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in/.

• Then click on the request button for OTP
• After this an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number
• Enter the received OTP
• When we click on validate button
• After successful verification, the registered online connection will open.

 

What is KYM

The full name of KYM is Know Your Mobile. With this KYM, you can check the validity of your mobile device before purchasing it. Where IMEI plays an important role. What is written on the mobile packaging box? This can be found on the mobile bill/invoice. You can check the IMEI number by dialing *#06# from your mobile, IMEI number will appear on your mobile screen.
