✅ નવોદય વિદ્યાલયની આ પ્રવેશ પરીક્ષામાં જે બાળક સારા મેરીટ સાથે પાસ થઈ પ્રવેશ માટે સિલેક્ટ થાય છે તે બાળકનો ધોરણ 6 થી ધોરણ 12 સુધીનો ભણવા અંગેનો તમામ ખર્ચ કેન્દ્ર સરકાર તરફથી નિશુલ્ક મળે છે.

✅શિક્ષણનું માધ્યમ ધોરણ 6 થી જ અંગ્રેજી માધ્યમ (CBSC બોર્ડ) હોય છે.
✅ દરેક જિલ્લામાં એક નવોદય વિદ્યાલય આવેલી હોય છે. જ્યાં 40 + 40 એમ કુલ 80 વિદ્યાર્થીઓના કુલ 2 કલાસ કાર્યરત હોય છે. એટલે કે દરવર્ષે ધોરણ 5માં લેવાતી આ પ્રવેશ પરીક્ષામાં કુલ 80 વિદ્યાર્થી પ્રવેશપાત્ર થાય છે.
✅ વિદ્યાર્થી ચાલુ સાલે જે જિલ્લાની જે શાળામાં ધોરણ 5 નો અભ્યાસ કરી રહ્યો હોય તે જ જિલ્લા માટે તે પ્રવેશ પરીક્ષા આપી શકે છે.
✅ નવોદય વિદ્યાલય પ્રવેશ માટે ગ્રામ્ય વિસ્તારની શાળાઓમાં ભણતા બાળકો માટે 75% સીટો પર પ્રવેશ મળવાપાત્ર છે. જ્યારે શહેરી વિસ્તારની શાળાઓમાં અભ્યાસ કરતા બાળકો માટે 25% સીટો પર પ્રવેશ મળવા પાત્ર છે.
✅ પરીક્ષાનું માધ્યમ ગુજરાતી, હિન્દી,અંગ્રેજી તેમજ મરાઠી એમ કુલ ચાર ભાષાનું છે. ચાર ભાષા પૈકી કોઈ એક ભાષામાં પરીક્ષા આપી શકાય છે.

What is Navodaya Admission?
Navodaya Admission refers to the process of securing a seat in the 11th grade in one of the Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country. These schools follow the CBSE curriculum and offer education free of cost.
The admission process aims to identify talented students from rural areas and provide them with a holistic education, including academic excellence, extracurricular activities, and all-round development.
JNV Registration 2023
The JNV Registration 2023 is the first step towards securing a seat in the prestigious Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV).
JNVs are co-educational, residential schools that provide quality education to students from rural areas across India. The registration process is conducted by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, NVS has started the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, JNV Admission. This time, the registration process has started for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. Students interested in getting admission can apply now on the official site navodaya.gov.in.
This time the admissions would be given to students based on the entrance examination. Moreover, the official statement reads that students applying for admission in JNV should qualify for the age eligibility criteria.
According to that the date of birth of the candidates should be as per JNV admission guidelines, which means that students must be born between June 1, 2006, and May 31, 2008 in order to apply.
Navodaya Admission Notification
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, NVS has issued the “Navodaya Admission” notification and Online applications are invited from eligible and interested students for admission to 11th Class admissions against the vacant seats likely to be available in JNVs during the academic year 2023-24.
The lateral Entry Selection Test for admission to in JNVs against the vacant seats, likely to be available in JNVs for the academic session 2023-24 will be held On Saturday, 22nd July 2023 at 11.00 A.M.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, which are set up to provide education of the highest standards to intelligent students in rural areas, are overseen by a set of Navodaya Vidyalayas, an independent body set up under the Central Ministry of Human Resources.
Applications are currently being sought to fill the eleventh-class restricted seats under lateral entry. Opportunity to study in Navodaya Vidyalayas from class six to twelve. In addition to education, extracurricular activities such as sports are given priority in these schools. Thereby the student strives for all-around development.
These schools are affiliated to the CBSE. In the tenth and twelfth grades, the results are coming in at more than 98 percent per annum. Implementing a trilingual approach.

Eligibility for NVS Admission:
- Date of Birth of the candidate is to be between 1st June 2006 to 31st May 2008 (both days inclusive).
- This is applicable to all categories of candidates including those who belong to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
- The candidate must have passed Class X from a recognized school
Admissions Procedure for JNV Admission:
- Selection of students for admission will be made against the vacant seats, likely to be available in JNVs in Class-XI for the academic session 2023-24.
- Vacant seats in Class-XI, after admitting the students who studied Class-X in JNVs during the session 2022-23, will be filled through the lateral entry test subject to the availability of accommodation in the JNV concerned.
- The vacant seats in Rural/Girl/SC/ST/Divyang category will be filled by the respective category candidates. If qualified candidates are not available, vacant seats will be filled as per NVS norms.
- After the conduct of selection test, provisional selection of students will be done as per following steps:
- a) District wise merit list will be prepared and students will be provisionally selected against the vacancies.
- The twin conditions of residence and study of Class-X from the district concerned only, will be considered under district wise merit list for filling up of vacant seats.
- b) After selecting students against the vacancies in the JNV of the district, a common merit list will be prepared at State level.
- After step a), the vacancies existing in any of the JNVs of the same State will be filled from the State level merit list by considering the merit and as per option exercised by the candidate.
- c) Candidates from one state are not eligible for admission in another state.
- Qualified candidates are provisionally selected for class XI admission in JNVs on the basis of merit, categories, vacancies in the opted JNV and streams as per selection criteria.
- If selected for a JNV and a stream, against vacancies, change of JNV / stream will not be entertained.
- NVS deserves the right to decide about filling up of vacancies in any JNV / Stream, if exist, by considering the administrative exigencies including the accommodation available in the JNV concerned.
- The selected students will be informed by the Principal of the concerned JNV by SMS/Speed post.
- Newly admitted students have to undergo medical check-up by the Vidyalaya Doctor also in addition to providing medical certificate.
- Students suffering from infectious disease/serious ailments shall not be admitted.
- Ten days’ orientation programme will be arranged for newly admitted students to bridge the learning gaps and to adapt them for new environment.
Candidates applying for JNV Admission must note that a common merit list will be prepared at State level. Those who will be selected will be informed by the Principal of the concerned JNV by SMS or Speed Post. Students must keep a check on the official site for more details on JNV Admission.
While education in the schools is free including boarding, lodging, uniforms and textbooks, a nominal fee is collected from the students of Classes IX to XII only as per NVS policy. However, children belonging to SC/ST, Girls and from families whose income is below poverty line (BPL) are exempted from payment of fee.

How to Submit NVS Online Application?

Student can fill the online application form directly on Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Admissions Registration Portal – https://www.nvsadmissionclasseleven.in.
- Visit the navodaya.gov.in website
Students who whish to apply for the NVS admission may visit the official website by entering web address navodaya.gov.in in your device browser and press enter button. Then, navodaya vidyalaya samiti official website will be appeared in your device screen.
- Click on NVS Registration Link
Once you reach the navodaya official website, you can search for the NVS Registration link at the home page and click on it. Then lateral entry admission registration portal appeared in your device.
- Click on the Phase 1 Registration Link
On the NVS registration web portal, click on the ‘Phase 1 Candidate Registration’ link. Then, NVS registration form will be appeared in your device.
- Enter details in Phase 1 Registration Form
In the NVS registration form, enter the Class 10 studied State and district, Name of the Candidate, Mobile Number and Date of Birth details in the required fields and click on the submit button. You Can see the message on web page like ‘Your Registration Phase I has been completed. Your Registration No/Username is: 01234567. Your password has been sent to the given mobile no.: 0123456789’
- Again visit NVS Admission web portal
After receiving your user name and password, once Again visit the NVS Admission web portal and login with your User Name and Password. Click on the NVS Phase 2 registration form.
- Enter details in Phase 2 Registration Form
Once your reach the Phase 2 NVS registration form, fill the Personal Details and Class 10 Standard Details, Select Stream/ District Preferences, Check the Preview Details and click on Submit Button.
- Upload the scanned copies
By clicking on the submit button, you can reach the phase 3 registration form. In this form, student can upload all the documents like photograph, scanned signature, class 10 marksheet, signature of parent and so on and click on the submit button.
- Download Application Form
By clicking on the submit button, your application would have been submitted. Download and take a print of it for future references.
What documents are required for the Navodaya Admission Online Application 2023
