Gujarat GNM Admission 2023 is mainly based on state wise entrance exams conducted by the state education governing body. Some private colleges admit students on the basis of merit. The main entrance exams for GNM Nursing admission are WB ANM-GNM Entrance Exam, Kerala GNM, Tamil Nadu GNM and Odisha GNM.

GNM Nursing or General Nursing Midwifery is a 3 years diploma medical course for those who want to make a career as midwives and general nurses in the nursing field. GNM admissions usually start from August to September, but some government state exams and private institutes start the registration process from the beginning of the year.

  • The candidate should be atleast 17 years old as on December 31, 2023. The maximum age limit is 35 years.
  • The candidate must pass 10+2 exam from a recognized board. He/she must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in 10+2.
  • They must secure atleast 45% marks in 10+2. Candidates belonging to the reserved category should score more than 40% marks in 10+2.

Gujarat GNM admission process involves filling out the application form, uploading of documents, document verification, counseling and fee payment. The basic steps to fill out the Gujarat GNM application form are mentioned below.

  • The candidate must fill out the basic details such as Name, Mobile Number, Email Address, Gender, DOB, etc. Mobile number and email address verification will be done via OTP.
  • They can then login using unique user ID and password and fill out the basic application form. The application fee can be paid online via UPI/net banking/credit or debit card.
  • After the fee payment, they need to upload their recent passport size photograph and scanned copy of the signature as per the specifications mentioned in the brochure.
  • They can then fill out the basic academic details and details about their candidature such as permanent address, domicile, category, etc.
  • They can now take a print out of the application form and save it for the counseling round.

  • Exams will be conducted in the allotted centre as mentioned in the admit card.
  • The exam will have MCQ-type questions on the basis of topics taught in 10+2.

Gujarat GNM Admission 2023: Counselling Process

  • For counselling, students need to open the official link of college and register there with the details in the admit card of the entrance exam.
  • After that the students need to fill their choices according to their preference and convenience of the college and then lock their preference. If not locked, then the last made choice will automatically be locked.
  • If the candidate is allotted the college, he/she must download the seat allotment letter and report to the allotted college as soon as possible.
  • After that the candidate may choose to upgrade or freeze their choice according to their convenience.
  • At the reporting centre, the candidate needs to pay the fee and verify the documents.
